This is how it all started…

Tinystepsadvice.com was born out of my deep passion for both medicine and motherhood. As a pediatrician and mother of two, I found myself answering many of the same questions new parents had about their babies’ health, care, and development. Whether in the clinic or chatting with friends, I realized how much parents crave clear, evidence-based guidance that also acknowledges the emotional journey of raising a child. It became clear to me that new parents needed a space where they could find not only expert advice but also the compassionate support they deserve.

In my years of practice, I’ve seen firsthand how overwhelming the early stages of parenthood can be. There’s an abundance of information out there, but not all of it is reliable, and much of it can leave parents feeling even more confused. I wanted to create a resource that cuts through the noise—providing advice that’s grounded in science, yet delivered in a way that feels personal and reassuring. I envisioned Tinystepsadvice.com as a place where parents can come to feel empowered with knowledge, knowing they are taking the best steps for their child.

What makes this project especially close to my heart is the balance I aim to strike between professional expertise and the everyday realities of parenting. As a mother, I understand the emotional rollercoaster, the sleepless nights, and the desire to give your baby the very best start. My hope is that through this blog, I can offer you not only practical tips and solutions but also the comfort of knowing you’re not alone on this incredible journey.
